Apple has just released Airport Utility for iOS on the App Store!

Airport Utility for iOS is an app that allows users to manage their airport express and extreme settings right on their iDevice. This app is not showing via iTunes search yet but you will be able to download it here.   This app is set to be at a full public release later today.

You can also manually install this app via under your settings app.  Then click “Manage This Network” under your WiFi settings for your Airport express or extreme router.


MacRumors reports that Apple is set to launch Final Cut Pro X next week and at the same time with the release of some new third-party ThunderBolt accessories.  Click the “Read More” button to read more on this speculation.

Apple demoed Final Cut Pro X back in Mid-April showing off it’s upcoming features and fixes since the previous Final Cut Pro.  Apple also stated that it will most likely be available in the Mac App Store for $299 during June.  Apple has also to yet announce the rest of the Final Cut Studio package or the much cheaper and lighter-weight version, Final Cut Express.  A number of leaked images of the upcoming Final Cut Pro X were released in the past two weeks as well but the full details remain unknown.

Apple has also introduced the new ThunderBolt – an all new way of transferring data at a much faster pace.  It was introduced on the latest 2011 Macbook Pros in late February, then later into the 2011 iMacs just last month.  Third-party companies has also been showing off their latest or upcoming products that will be compatible with ThunderBolt as well.  Video professionals will also love to transfer huge files quickly with the release of the upcoming Final Cut Pro X by using the latest ThunderBolt Technology.  So who knows? Maybe Apple WILL more introduce third-party ThunderBolt Peripherals and Final Cut Pro X by next week.


Find My Friends goes live!

Apple has just released Find My Friends on the App Store!

We have previously talked about what Find my Friends here.

To get the app, launch iCloud.com on any of your iDevices…

Then tap the “Install Find My Friends” text and it should take you to the App Store.

One thing to note is that the app does require to have iOS 5 installed.

 


It looks like all the magazine companies have started rolling out their magazines on the Newsstand app for iOS 5 ahead of its release!
