Amazon’s Kindle is probably the best e-book reader at the moment, thanks to it’s E-Ink technology that allows clear text to be displayed to the readers. But that may be about to change. Who’s responsible for it? Nemoptic.

These guys created an e-paper that is capable of displaying video, having a touchscreen and backlight. At it’s 30 millisecond refresh rate and it’s decent resolution, you couldn’t ask anything more from it. And I didn’t even mention the best part: it’s price will not only be competitive, but will be so low that, in no time, you may see this display everywhere from cheap cell phones to e-readers.

We’ll have to wait and see who’s the smart guy that will take advantage of it for the first time. After all, Nemoptic did it’s part of the deal. Take a peek at this piece of technology here (it may look like old technology to some, but believe me, it’s not).
