A couple of days ago Dell unveiled the new generation Latitude E6400 XFR notebook, an incredibly tough laptop that complies with DOD’s MIL-STD 810F heat, dust and vibration requirements. The new notebook is really power packed and it’s equipped with PR481 “ballistic” armor which will offer one of the strongest impact protection and customers could easily defend themselves from direct blasts of pressurized water with their tough laptop. Under its shell, this laptop has an Intel Core2 2 Duo processor, a 256 MB NVIDIA Quatro NVS 160 video card and an integrated Intel 4500 MHD Chipset. The new Dell Latitude comes with a sunlight readable 14.1″ WXGA display and it weights only 8.5 pounds. The price? If you want to get this kind of protection for your bytes, you’ll have to pay at least $4,299 for the new Dell Latitude E6400 XFR. [Engadget]
