Mac OSX 10.6.7 is now available for download! Fixes Some 2011 Macbook Pro issues!

Apple has just released the final version of Mac OSX 10.6.7 Snow Leopard to the public. It is a definite upgrade and it fixes a lot of bugs since the last update which was mac OSX 10.6.6 Snow Leopard back in January 2011. 
The Mac OS X 10.6.7 Update for MacBook Pro is recommended for all early 2011 MacBook Pro models. It includes general operating system fixes for Mac OS X Snow Leopard that enhance the stability, compatibility, performance, and security of your Mac, including fixes that:
• Improve the reliability of Back to My Mac
• Resolve an issue when transferring files to certain SMB servers
• Address various minor Mac App Store bugs
• Address minor FaceTime performance issues
• Improve graphics stability and external display compatibility
There has been cases of when the early 2011 MacBook Pros causes a numerous number of issues including display flickering. So hopefully this is fixed.
Find My Friends goes live!

Apple has just released Find My Friends on the App Store!
We have previously talked about what Find my Friends here.
To get the app, launch iCloud.com on any of your iDevices…
Then tap the “Install Find My Friends” text and it should take you to the App Store.
One thing to note is that the app does require to have iOS 5 installed.

Apple has seeded both the iOS 5 GM, and OS X Lion 10.7.2 GM!
iOS 5 Golden Master (Build 9A334) is now available via the iOS Dev Center. This version of iOS 5 is usually the build that will be shipped out to the public on October 12th.
Apple has also released a the GM version of OS X Lion 10.7.2. This new version will bring minor updates, and bug fixes to v.10.7.1. It would also come with full iCloud support and it will also be released on October 12th.
Apple Announces the “Cards” App!

Apple has announced their new “Cards” application at the their “Lets Talk iPhone” Media Event yesterday!
This iOS app allows users to create a card [somewhat like Hallmark], send it to Apple to print it, emboss it, and mail it to you. Apple has stated that mailing would cost $2.99 in the US. Users can choose from 21 different designs, and this app is integrated into iOs 5′s new Push Notification feature. ”Cards” will be available on the app store on October 12th.
