Sony Japan has announced the HT-IS100 a 5.1 channel home theater system. The system consists of four satellite speakers that measures 42.67mm x 42.67mm and a sub-woofer. Other features include 3 x HDMI ports, AM / FM tuner, S-Master audio system and remote control. The Sony HT-IS100 5.1 Home theater system adopts Sony’s Digital Cinema Auto Calibration (DCAC) auto speaker set-up technology and a Multi-speaker Formation function. The unit will be available in Japan on June 25 for 90,000 Yen or around $900.
