Tandberg PrecisionHD

Webcams always had poor resolution but lately things changed and Tandberg just made a special high definition webcam for people who are unsatisfied with their old pc camera. The new camera is called Tandberg PrecisionHD and it provides high definition capabilities with autofocus and a noise cancelling microphone. Since it’s really advanced the camera needs a lot of bandwidth and customers should have a super fast internet connection in order to use this HD quality camera. The audio/video stream requires at least 1.5 Mbps uploads speed and it was optomized for Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 Release 2. Tandberg hasn’t announced pricing info yet. Exemode DV505 5MP Camcorder

Their new product, The DV505 is a new 5MP camcorder from the Japanese company Exemode that features 32MB of internal memory, an SD slot (up to 2GB) and the ability to record only VGA video. That’s right! Only VGA quality video… The Exemode DV505 retails for only €80.

Fujifilm FinePix A850 Digital Camera

Fujifilm has announced its latest FinePix, the A850. This compact camera offers a 8.1 Megapixel CCD sensor, 3x optical zoom, a 2.5 inch LCD screen, a maximum sensitivity for up to ISO 800, a picture stabilizer, 14 different scene modes, and can capture video at 30fps. The FinePix A850 will be available from retailers from July 2008. Pricing will be announced nearer to the date of the launch. Stay tuned for more updates

Micro Four Thirds System is one step closer to the future of the cameras

Launched for some time, the Micro Four Thirds System (MFT) for cameras is a good phenomenon to watch. It wants to be a substitute for the DSLR cameras and many people think that they will have a lot of success in 2, maybe 3 years from now on.
Currently, this system has a big handicap in front of the DSLR devices: smaller sensor, so lower quality images and huge prices. Panasonic GH2, which could very well be a Canon 500D, costs from 899 dollars, which, we all know, is a huge price.
