Pascal Bardel has creatively designed the Gélule. It is a concept radio clock that shaped like a capsule. The clock features a backlit LCD display and an omni-directional speaker. A choice of several colors of cloth for the speaker is proposed, fitting with the color of the LCD display. You can also adjust the volume by rotation of the speaker. The new 3G handset from Sony Ericsson will be launched in Japan via NTT DoCoMo in July 4th, 2008. The new mobile phone is called SO706i and it features 1-Seg Support. The handset measures 10,5cm x 4,9cm x 1,34cm and it weights only 98 grams. The phone has a camera with a resolution of 2 mega pixels, 2.8″ screen and a microSD card with a capacity of up to 2GB.

Pioneer will be dropping several Blu-ray players in Europes. The first being the 2.0-compliant BDP-LX91, Designer BDP-LX08 and BDP-LX71 and the BDP-51FD. All feature 1080p24 support, HDMI 12-Bit Deep Color support, KURO LINK, DTS-HD Master Audio / Dolby True HD compatibility and professional-quality Wolfson Digital Audio Converters (DACs). Ni word on prices for any of them. However, the BDP-LX71 is said to drop in September, the BDP-51FD / BDP-LX08 in October and the BDP-LX91 sometime in the Winter. [Engadget]
